Dieses zweistöckige Vorratshaus hat seinen Namen vom „Mörtlbauer“, nordwestlich von St. Veit a. d. Glan. Zwecks der Fernhaltung von Bodenfeuchtigkeit, liegt es auf vier Steinen und ist in Blockbau gezimmert. Zum Schutz vor Dieben und Ungeziefer hat das Strohdach eine gewölbte Deckenzimmerung und kleine Wandöffnungen im Obergeschoss zu Belüftungszwecken wegen der dortigen Fleischlagerung.

This two-storey supply building was named after the „Mörtlbauer“, who lived northwest of St.Veit/Glan. In order to keep off soil humidity, it is built on four stones and timbers in log construction. The straw thatched roof is vaulted to be protected against thieves. Small openings in the wall have a ventilation purpose in order to store meat there.

Questo magazino con due piani ha avuto il suo nome dal „Mörtlbauer“, un contadino del nord-ovest di St. Veit a.d. Glan. Mantenendo l’obbiettivo di proteggerlo dall’ umiditá dal suolo fu costruito a blocchi e su quattro pietre. Per proteggere la casa da ladri e parassiti, il tetto di paglia ha un soffitto a volta e d un buco nella parete del piano superiore, a scopo di cambiare l’aria per il magazzino di carne che é situato lá.
