Als typischer Vertreter der Hauslandschaft des Lavanttales wurde das „Kogelnik-Haus“ aus Steinberg-Oberhaus bei St. Georgen im Lavanttal ins Freilichtmuseum übertragen. Eine genaue Hausbeschreibung aus einem Stiftsregister aus dem Jahr 1631 läßt auf das hohe Alter des Anwesens schließen. Die ursprünglich kleinen Fenster wurden vermutlich Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts durch größere ersetzt.

As a typical representative of the landscape of Lavanttal the „Kogelnik House“ was transferred to the open air museum from Steinberg-Oberhaus at St. Georgen im Lavanttal. A detailed description of the house dated back to 1631 indicates the old age of the property. The original small windows were probably replaced by larger ones in the mid-19th century.

Come rappresentante di un tipico paesaggio casale nella valle-Lavant, il „Kogelnik-Haus“ di Steinberg Oberhaus a St. Georgen nel Lavanttal é stato trasferito al museo a cielo aperto. Grazie ad una descrizione detagliata della casa in un indice di un convento dell’ anno 1631 si puó dedurre alla antichitá del complesso residenziale. Probabilmente le finestre originali erano piú piccole, e sono state sostituite da quelle piú grandi nella metá del secolo 19.
