Die Flodermühle zählt zu den ältesten Mühlenarten und ist vor allem im nördlichen Oberkärnten zu finden. Diese Mühle stammt ursprünglich aus dem südlichen Mallnitz. Sie besteht aus einem Ständergerüst über das sich ein Blockbau erhebt. Eine kurze Stiege führt in das Innere des Mühlraumes wo sich Siebkasten und Mühlstei­ne befinden. Zwischen den Mühlsteinen wird das Getreide zu Mehl gerieben.

The Floder mill is among the oldest kinds of mills and can be found in the northern part of Upper Carinthia. This mill originates from southern Mallnitz. It consists of a pillar scaffolding that is covered by a blog cabin. The interior of the mill can be reached across a few stairs where the sieve crate and millstones can be found.

Questo tipo di mulini é uno dei tipi piú vecchi ed é diffuso nel nord del alta-Carinzia. Questo mulino é d’origine di Mallnitz. Consiste di un’armatura ed una costruzione a blocchi. Con una piccola scale arriva alla stanza dove si trovano la cassetta delle cole e le macine.
