In Kärnten werden Bienen in liegenden Kästen gehalten, welche aus vier Brettern zusammengesetzt sind und deren Bodenbrett nach vorne als „Landebahn“ verlängert ist. Die Vorderseite zieren meistens ländliche Motive, wie zum Beispiel Tierdarstellungen oder Bauern am Feld. Auch religiöse Motive, wie die heilige Maria werden häufig verwendet. Die ausgestellten Kästen stammen aus dem vorigen Jahrhundert.

In Carinthia bees are kept in lying crates which consist of four boards and a bottom board which is extended to the front as a „runway“. The front is illustrated with mostly rural motives like animals or peasants on the field. Also religious motives, such as St. Mary are often used. The displayed boxes originate from the last century.

In Carinzia le api sono tenute in gabbie stese che sono costruite da 4 assi. L’asse principale è allungata come pista d’atteraggio. Sulla parte di fronte ci sono decorazioni con degli immagini rurali, come per esempio animali o contadini che lavorano sul campo. Anche immagini religiosi come la santa Maria vengono notati spesso. Le box dell’esposizione sono del secolo passato.
