Der ursprüngliche Standort dieses Gebäudes war das obere Mölltal, doch war es bereits in den letzten Jahren in Klagenfurt im Messegelände in unmittelbarer Nähe zugänglich. Es wurde 1977 an das Kärntner Freilichtmuseum verschenkt. In der linken Ecke befindet sich ein Ofen, dessen Einheiz außen unter dem Vordach liegt. Der Namengebung ist ihre ursprüngliche Zweckbestimmung als Dampf und Schwitzbad noch zu entnehmen, doch widersprachen derartige Badesitten dem Zeitalter der Aufklärung, weshalb Verbote erlassen wurden. Den existenten Gebäuden wurden in der Folge andere Funktionen zuteil, indem darin Obst gedörrt bzw. Flachs geröstet wurde; in einigen Fällen dienten sie auch Auszüglern oder dem Gesinde zu Wohnzwecken.

The original location of this building was the upper Mölltal, but it was already accessible in Klagenfurt,in the Exhibition Grounds in the last few years.
